Due to the road closures in Islamabad around the USA-Iran talks, consular and visa services at the German Embassy Islamabad can be subject to closures, including on short notice.

From 22 to 24 April 2026, the Visa Section for Afghanistan is open. Appointments are taking place as scheduled.

Any cancelled appointments over the past days will be rescheduled in the upcoming weeks.
