German nationals who are still in Afghanistan after the end of the military evacuation and who want to leave are urgently requested to register under http://afg.diplo.de. Even if you had already entered your details in the ELEFAND emergency contact list, please register via our new system. This will allow us to communicate specifically with those of you who are still in Afghanistan and are looking to leave.
Please make sure your information is complete and correct!
The Federal Foreign Office has also set up an emergency hotline for German nationals (+49 30-18 17 1000) – but no matter how you seek to contact us, you must register via the portal http://afg.diplo.de.

If visa applicants have already received a positive decision from the Embassy in New Delhi; in individual cases, it may be possible to organize the further processing of the visa for the passport via an external service provider from the Foreign Ministry in Kabul. If you have this option, you will be contacted directly by the service provider regarding the visa issuance and passport delivery procedure.
